Northern Botswana: Through the eyes of a guest
Experiencing Botswana has long been a dream of mine, inspired by childhood memories in the Kalahari. This journey - led by Adriaan and supported by Comfy and Rooi Jan- was exceptional and truly unforgettable. The itinerary was thoughtfully crafted. The driving segments were manageable considering the distances, while our time spent experiencing the landscapes and wildlife felt generous and unhurried. Every meal came with pleasant surprises, and the quality of the food certainly added to the enjoyment.
A good blend of likeminded participants made the experience uncomplicated and fun. The route gave us a rich, if brief, glimpse into the beauty and diversity that Botswana has to offer in landscapes, wildlife, and the warmth of its people. What an extraordinary country - if only our beloved South Africa could take a page from their book. Beyond the stunning landscapes and awe-inspiring wildlife, I was deeply moved by the Tswana people: their kindness, humility, authenticity, self-respect and eloquence left a lasting impression.
In sum, it was a phenomenal experience, delivered by a truly remarkable team. My sincere thanks to you and everyone involved.
